To turn on Parental Controls in Windows 7,
Simply Open the Control Panel, and click User Accounts and Family Safety.
CLick on Set up parental controls for any user.
Choose the Standard User account to select the Parental Controls. If no standard account has been set up, click on Create a new user account,
Enter all the settings for this standard user account for example your childs name,
Once you have set up a standard user account, you can set parental controls like Time Limits, when your children are allowed to log onto the computer. For example you can set time for during the week and set a different time during the weekend.
You can prevent children from running certain programs.
You can specify what games children can run for example set age ratings on games, block unrated, specific games.
Once you have selected your settings click On, enforce current settings.
