To create a Windows 7 password disk to help you out of a bind if you forget your user account password.
1: Click On Start,
2: Cick Control Panel,
3: Click User Accounts and Family Safety,
4: Click User Accounts,
5: Click on Create a password reset disk on th eleft side,
This will open the Welcome to the Forgotten Password Wizard,
1: Click Next,
2: Select the Drive,
3: Enter the Current User Account Password,
4: Insert the Disk.
There a many 3rd party programs that will enable you to reset an offline password of any user account, this feature is useful to do when you initially set-up your Windows 7 computer as it dose not matter how many time you change your password.
